[ And he's waiting in the library before long. Nonon might just be able to catch him as he's on his way to clock in. ]

[Nonon piled her bag with lots of chocolates and snacks to the point where she wouldn't have money for anything else. She figured after her poor display in the library, she could make friends this way.
She slipped into the library a little before noon, after eating quite a lot of candy for herself.]

[ He notices Nonon enter, and decides to go shelve some books in her general direction. He looks a little down, though. ]

[Nonon heard the sound of books hitting wood and used it to follow Philip, who she notices doesnt seem as cheery as the last time they met.
She tugged on the bottom of his coat, hoping to catch his attention.]

Ah--

[ He turns, tugging his coat out of her reach. Oh there she is. ]

Nonon Jakuzure. Good morning.

[Nonon offered him a small smile when his attention turned towards her.]

Good morning. I did as I said I would!

[She lifted up the bag for him to see how full it was. She was broke now but it was worth it.[

[ Wow that's a big bag! :o ]

Amazing! What sort of candy did you obtain?

[ Oh, yeah, and there's a bruise on his cheek. Could be worse, though. ]

[Nonon studied him carefully, before shrugging and opening the bag up.
Any injuries he had weren't her concern in the long run.]

Chocolates mostly, also taffy. Dig in!

[ He hasn't done much experimenting with candy, so he fishes a few out of the bag and takes a seat at a table to examine them. ]

[Nonon stood where she was and watched the odd boy. Did he have allergies or something? Or was he just...odd?
Odd but cute. Dammit.]

Um, is everything okay? Did I get something you can't eat?

Huh? [ He finally picks a piece and starts unwrapping it. ] No, I am simply analyzing each piece. I've never had any of them before, after all.

Oh, alright. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get something that would make you sick. That'd be a terrible gift, right?

A good point. However, I don't believe I should have an adverse reaction to anything as simple as this.

[ Candy in mouth. His eyes go wide. ]

[When his eyes lit up, Nonon smiled -- genuinely. Now that she had thought about it, Philip was going to be her only other friend. If Scratch even counted as her friend.]

Um. How does one.. get a job around here, just curious?

Hm? [ Swallow! ] Are you interested in working in the library? You will need to apply at the front desk.

[Oh, he seems to have read her mind... excellent.
Truth be told she just wanted to get closer to a new friend. As the original text between the two had started, she was lonely..]

Sounds great, thank you. What shifts are available? Do you know?

I'm not sure off the top of my head, actually. [ He spends most of his time in the library reading books... ]
