Once the exams in sickbay concluded Philip just sort of grabbed Shotaro's arm and dragged him into a lift. With just the two of them inside, it was arguably the most privacy they could achieve for now.
"The technology of this time period is astounding," was the first thing he said. "It was able to detect the energy of the Earth's memory inside me. I was able to deflect Doctor Crusher's line of questioning, but could not allay her suspicions. ...How did your examination go, Shotaro?"
